Which MBTI type is the achiever? (Enneagram 3)

Achieve: “To gain with effort.”

The third enneagram type is known as the achiever. However, it is commonly referred to such as successful due to the person’s constant need to appear confident and happy; this type is often very subconscious of their body image. So it may come to a suprise that ESTJ’s are the most likely to be the achievers. But lets think this through. ISTJ’s have a constant need to succeed. ESTJ’s also have a constant need to succeed. However, what is the main difference between the two?

Extroversion versus introversion can push people to have completely different goals. For instance, perfectionists want to be perfect for themselves. They don’t care what other people think of their grade on their test or their sporting success- they do it for themselves. However, extroverts do these things for their appearance, and how they are perceived by others. This is why achievers are most likely to be extroverts.

Once again, they are more likely to be sensors because they want to fit in and follow the trends- often pushing the barriers and aiming to be the best of the sensors with the newest house or car. Achievers are known as rule followers who push themselves for their appearance. This proves why achievers are sensors. They are also judgers so that they can organize themselves to achieve these goals. This shows that ESTJ’s are more likely to be achievers.

I think 3w2 is ENTJ, and 3w4 is INTJ 😉

    Im an ISTJ.
I tested as a 3w4, but could also go 1w9 and 6w5. I could relate greatly to each of these three. I Definitely have the drive to succeed. This can be a struggle though through the younger years as istj usually are not as socially inept.

I would look into tritypes if I were you. I’m not sure which order it would be in, but your tritype would be along the lines of 316.
