Which MBTI type best represents drugs?

Hopefully, this blog entry will provide you guys with an abstract interpretation of, from much research, the psychological effects of various legal and illegal drugs and how this relates to MBTI personality types. If drugs had an MBTI type, what would they be?

  • Ectasy/MDMA- ESFP.
  • Adderal/medafonal- ISTJ.
  • Meth- ENFP.
  • Cocaine and crack cocaine- ENFJ.
  • Heroin- ISFP.
  • Speed- ENTJ
  • Weed- ISTP
  • Shrooms- INTJ
  • Alcohol- ESFJ
  • Tobacco- ESTJ
  • Caffeine- ISFJ
  • 2-CE- INFJ
  • Salvia- ENTP

Remember, there are many bad effects associated with illegal drugs and some legal drugs (as well as getting caught by the law/social factors), so I wouldn’t recommend doing them! Hopefully this provides you with better knowledge as to what they do from a more abstract perspective!

These posts are awesome for sure. Some of these drugs I haven’t even heard of ahahah.
I wonder what the mbti type of drugs would be, just as the whole group and not any in particular. It’s hard to say drugs (the group) have an mbti type, because drugs are like people and have different qualities. When you say drugs, you could mean many things…recreational, medicinal. Etc, the things different categories of drugs do are unique. If I had to type drugs, I would type the categories.

good idea! I might even update this article to include the recreational, medicinal, etc. if I have the time!😀

Yes that is a great point! I was applying this case to drugs in general- for example, weed which seems to be most commonly used recreationally (I’m not denying its usage in medicine) will therefore be characterised with the type with the type that would most likely wish to use it recreationally. What do you think of the typings Amy?
