Now, as you are all well aware there are sixteen MBTI types, which are balanced fairly consistently. However, there are a select few types that aren’t currently very popular types; although I strongly believe that overtime, these types will become more accepted and we will see far more of them in the future. Now, let’s begin! 🙂
Introverts were once deemed unacceptable in society. However, lately introversion has become more acceptable with the invention of the internet, TV and various other forms of technology. It has become a far more accepted idea, as many modern inventions require introversion. Therefore, introverts are sure to increase in numbers.
Secondly, intuition is likely to see a far higher increase in numbers. Lately, people have been far more open to sharing of ideas, and in current society anybody can achieve any vision they set out to achieve. Intuition is seen as more important in work, in the media and in the future development of our world.
Thirdly, feeling types are going to become more common as well. Now days, many people have developed strong ethical opinions about how our people should treat others, and it is only now that feeling types are truly starting to become more acceptable. We have become far more sensitive as a society to other people, which is a common trait of the feeling type.
Finally, judging is likely to continue to see an increase as the amount of work we must do for our jobs is increasing. Overtime, organization has become a vital tool in society, and judging, whether it be your preference or not is becoming a requirement. Overall, it is clear that INFJ’s (with their introverted intuition and extroverted feeling) are likely to become more accepted over time, thus there will be an increase in numbers for this type.
