Peacemaker: “A person that brings about harmony.”
The final enneagram type is the peacemaker, harmonizer. The type that gets along with everybody. But when it comes to MBTI, which type are they? Keep on reading to find out more.
The peacemaker type is clearly extroverted, and wants to get to know everybody. They differentiate from the helping type (type 2), as rather than helping out others for personal affirmation from others, they do it for personal affirmation from themselves- that they are being nice to everyone. They like to please others, often described as people pleasers, but they do not have a clear set of goals in mind when doing so. As a result, they are more relaxed and they will swap between chatting with different people so they keep everyone happy. They are extroverted, as this allows them to help out everyone with the required energy needed. They are sensors, as they relate to everyone, talking about the latest societal trends. They want to fit in with everyone by talking about the norm, rather than distinguishing from the latest trends and talk about abstract ideas. They are also more likely to be feelers, as they want to be on everybody’s good side. They want to be everybody’s friend, and are against the idea of having enemies. Finally, they are perceivers; not judgmental, they want to be friends with everyone; and by judging people this is far more difficult. As a result, they treat everyone equally in a typical perceiver fashion.
They are extroverted sensors, trying to follow trends to fit in, and introverted feelers, making sure they get internal validation for helping out other people. Therefore, the ESFP is the most likely type to be the peacemaker enneagram type.
