Calm: “Steady, peaceful and stable.”
Well, this is hard. The calm type really does depend on the person, however MBTI does play a certain role in deciding.
Introverts appear to be more calm than extroverts. This seems true, whether they talk as much as extroverts or not. However, introverts are known as more pessimistic and anxious than extroverts, which gives them the opposite appearance. Overall though, introverts are more calm people and do not show as much energy as extroverts.
Sensors are more down to earth about how the world works, and they just try to get a long in our society. Intuitive people stand up for what they believe in and they want change, and they are therefore less calm.
Feelers are less stable and show their emotions more. And what does that result in? Being unable to control themselves as well, resulting in being generally less calm people. But are they more calm than thinkers? The answer would have to be yes, due to the fact that they are more patient and considerate of other people.
Perceivers are far calmer than judgers. They are more careless than judgers, and they tend to go with the flow, resulting in being stable and steady.
From this information, it is clear that ISFP’s are the most calm type, due to their low-level of stress, and peaceful attitude towards life.
